A signature manifestation is the human readable display of a signature on a printed or displayed record, the printed name, date and time, and meaning shown next to a signed record. It has to accompany the record whenever it is displayed or printed, not just exist somewhere in a separate log.
The underlying database record proving a signature happened is necessary but not sufficient. A printed or displayed version of the record also needs to carry that same information visibly, so anyone reviewing a printout or a screen does not have to dig into a separate audit log to know who approved what and when.
A system can have a technically correct signature record stored in its database while failing to actually display that information clearly on the record itself when printed or exported. This gap is easy to miss during testing if nobody checks the printed or exported version specifically, only the on screen workflow.
